Anonymous guidance

Ask for help without giving up your identity

Some health questions feel harder to ask when your name is attached. Anonymous guidance lets you get proper medical advice while keeping your identity out of the consultation.

What the doctor sees

  • A consultation reference code
  • The age you choose to disclose
  • The gender you choose to disclose
  • Symptoms and context you write yourself
  • Messages you send during the consultation

What stays private

  • Your name
  • Your email address and phone number
  • Your profile and emergency contact details
  • Your other consultations and history

Anonymous does not mean unaccountable

The platform still holds your account, payment and security records — that is required to run a safe healthcare service and to protect you if something goes wrong. Anonymity means your identifying information is not exposed to the doctor during an anonymous consultation. This separation is enforced by the platform's database access rules: the doctor's account is simply not permitted to read your identity for those consultations.

Switching between modes

You choose per consultation. A normal consultation shares your profile with the doctor, which is useful for continuity of care and follow-ups. Anonymous guidance is best when privacy matters more than continuity.
