Private Care

Discuss your health concerns with greater privacy

Some health questions feel harder to ask when your full profile is shared. Private Care lets you receive health education and guidance while sharing limited information with the consulting professional. It is not an anonymous service.

  • Your email and age
  • Symptoms and context you provide
  • Messages you send during the consultation

Private Care does not mean unaccountable

AVEL Wellness retains your account, payment and security records to operate the service and address safety or legal requirements. The consulting professional recieves limited information for Private Care, as described in our Privacy Policy. This mode is privacy-focused, not anonymous, and information you provide during the consultation may be visible to the professional.

Switching between modes

You choose a mode for each consultation. Standard Care allows the professional to access your full profile for appropriate assessment and continuity of care. Private Care limits the information shared with the professional and provides educational guidance only. It does not provide prescriptions, prescribe medicines or doses, or initiate treatment. If you need diagnosis, treatment or a prescription, choose Standard Care where appropriate or visit a qualified healthcare professional.

How Private Care works

Private Care is designed for health education and general guidance. The consulting professional can discuss your concerns, explain health-related information and provide guidance based on the information you share. Your reference code, email, age, symptoms and consultation messages may be visible to the professional, while your name, phone number and other restricted profile details remain hidden as described in our Privacy Policy. Treatment initiation is provided through Private Care. If you require diagnosis, treatment or a prescription, please choose Standard Care where appropriate or visit a qualified healthcare professional. For emergencies, go to the nearest hospital or contact emergency services.
